Return & Refund Policy
At Strathearn Cheese we want you to be delighted with your order. Our cheeses are handmade and perishable, so please read the following carefully.
Perishable Goods
Because cheese is a fresh product, we are unable to accept returns unless the goods are faulty or damaged on arrival. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Email us at [your email address] with your order number and, if possible, a photograph of the problem. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
Quality Concerns
If you believe there is a quality issue with your cheese, please get in touch within 24 hours of delivery. We may ask for a description or photo to help us investigate. If the product is found to be faulty, we will offer a refund or replacement.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before dispatch. Once your cheese has been sent, cancellations are not possible.
Refunds
Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 7 working days of agreement.
Shipping Policy
1. General
This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the dispatch and delivery of products purchased through Strathearn Cheese’s online store. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth herein.
2. Dispatch and Delivery

While Strathearn Cheese takes reasonable steps to ensure timely delivery, it does not guarantee delivery times and accepts no liability for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, or other events beyond its reasonable control.3. Perishable Goods
3.1 All cheeses are perishable and dispatched in insulated packaging designed to maintain product quality during transit.
3.2 Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery. The customer is responsible for ensuring prompt receipt of the delivery and appropriate storage (e.g. refrigeration) thereafter. Strathearn Cheese shall not be liable for spoilage resulting from delayed collection, re-delivery attempts, or improper storage by the customer.4. Delivery Charges
4.1 Delivery charges are stated at checkout and form part of the order total.
4.2 Strathearn Cheese reserves the right to amend delivery charges at any time, provided such changes shall not apply retrospectively to orders already accepted.5. Delivery Areas
5.1 Deliveries are available within the United Kingdom [amend if you deliver elsewhere].
5.2 Strathearn Cheese reserves the right to decline orders for delivery to certain postcodes or regions where safe and timely delivery cannot be assured.6. Failed Deliveries

6.2 Refunds or replacements will not be issued for perishable goods that cannot be delivered due to customer error, absence, or failure to make arrangements for receipt.7. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
